          Solidarity is simply the demand of fraternity, that we treat each other as brothers and sisters because we are all one family in this world.

          Every September, Vigan City celebrates the World Heritage Cities Solidarity Cultural Festival. This festival aims to strengthen the pride in the city's history and culture, promote friendship and diversity between countries and serves as a great venue for forging ties and understanding through community's involvement in the city's various activities that highlights love for culture, arts and entertainment.

          Preserving the Ilocano culture is preserving the World Heritage City of Vigan and the unity of the UNESCO organization.

          Vigan City Solidarity Celebration is indeed the best activity done to preserve, conserve and manage the Ilocano culture and the heritage structures that date back from 18th and 19th century.
