121st Freedom Celebration

121 years ago, Filipino’s fought for our freedom, for our country’s independence. We, Filipino’s started celebrating Independence Day since June 12, 1898, the day we officially gained freedom.

            Many Filipino’s sacrificed their own lives for our freedom, in fighting with those greedy in power; the Americans, Japanese and Spaniards. These invaders manipulated and dictated us for their own goods. They make us suffer in just one wrong move, they made us Filipino’s a slaves. They took away our rights and freedom. They made us robots, doing what they want and pleasing in their eyes.

            June 12, 1898, we proud Filipino’s are celebrating the 121^st Independence Day of our land of birth, the Philippines. The day we finally gained our freedom. A yearly celebration to recognize the sacrifices and hardships of our heroes and ancestors lived and fought for us, for our freedom and independence.
