Millions of individuals perform the duck, cover and hold, twice or thrice every year. This drill is conducted to strengthen the coordination and to intensify local communities’ earthquake preparedness. The drill helps us to build the preparedness to earthquake hazards. We, people should be knowledgeable enough regarding this matters to help ourselves also because our safety does not rest in the hands of others. It is best to be prepared and ready because no one can determine when an earthquake will happen. With this proper training and planning, everyone can prepare before earthquake and can react appropriately during and after earthquake.
