     Christmas is celebrated to remember the birth of Jesus Christ , who christians believe is the son of God.
     Christmas is a special season ; season of joy , peace and great tidings.
     It is not just a time for festivity and merry making. It is more than that. It is a time for the contemplation of eternal things.
     The true essence of christmas is the spirit of giving , sharing and forgiving. We must also spare time to reflect on the essence of this season ; the love of God for humanity. God , will always be willing to give a helping hands to those in need , to give love and comfort to the vulnerable ones.
     At christmas , we must contemplate on eternal things. We must remind ourselves that we are stranger here on earth ; that our real home is in heaven , there we will live peacefully and eternally.
     "For God so loved the world that he gave us his only begotten son , that whosever believeth in him will not perish but have eternal life".
